Town Council Distict # 3

           My Positions
Stratford Town Council District # 3

George E. Mulligan -  Lived at 429 Housatonic Avenue Stratford CT. since 1978 - Unaffiliated.

Due to circumstances, I had to withdraw from newly created Public Interest Enactor Party Line. I run as unaffilated.

I have been to most Town Council Monthly Meetings since January 1998, and many other Town Meetings.
I am adversarial to people who run the Political Parties, locally, state, and nationally, who Appoint heads of  the Respective
Departments and Agencies, which affect DISCRETION of SUBORDINATES.
My dad was WW II Combt Vet. I helped with WW II Memorial, as ex-officio - helping publicize events and fund raising.

My INFORMATIVE Letters to the Editor published frequently by the now defunct Stratford Bard, Stratford Star, and far less
frequently by the CT. POST (which I believe works with certain Government personnel).

NO OTHER CANDIDATE CHALLENGES the political situation, nor tries to deconstruct and explain situations that puzzle the
electorate, like I do. GEORGE E. MULLIGAN.

Mr. Catalano - Republican
Son of a prominent Republican couple. Both recently deceased. Reputed to be backing JON BEST.

John Fahan - Democrat

Moved from Stamford a couple of years ago and politically active there and worked with Gavin Forrester,
Town Council District # 3 campaign in 2007. He has stated he has political aspirations.

Mr. Fahan Well dressed, young, and slender, John makes a far superior impression that I do. I am nearing 60 years
old.
I am obese. I favor wearing shorts-tees or sweat suits, when attend Town Meetings directly from work.

Mr. Fahan

Was appointed to the recent Charter Revision Commission as one of 3 socalled Democrats. Supposedly
there were 3 socalled Republicans and 3 socalled Independents. (The first Charter Revision Commission
had a Majority of Republicans - but I believe MOST, not all, of the people work for the same people.)

Mr. Fahan advanced the C.R.C. # 2 Proposal, that there would "NOT be a TOWN BUDGET REFERENDUM."
I consider that to be FASCIST and antithetical to GOOD GOVERNMENT.
With
NO PERSONAL ANIMOSITY towards Mr. Fahan, I consider him POLITICALLY to be an opportunistic
Carpet Bagger, who places his political interest and those of the party powers ahead of the Public Interest.

Mr. Fahan has signs on the Businesses of Democrat powers Angelo Stavola (Johnny's Restaurant) and Richard
Fredette (Elite Towing). Personally I like and respect Angelo and Rich, very much.
Mr. Fahan has been critical of Mayor Miron and his family, while politically backing Mr. Forrester.

Despite infighting among Democrats and Republicans, I belive all candidates work with people who
work with the
leaders of the respective parties, who have an interest in controlling every candidate.
